TGE Software's Behind The Desk Salon Suite software helps you instantly organize your salon information so you can track income and expenses, better serve your clients, review information about your business, and plot trends that affect your business. The following barely begins to describe all the features that our Salon Suite provides.

Clients

Managing your client information using the Salon Suite is a snap. Client information can be shared between different specialists in your salon, and adding an existing client to another specialist's client list is just a two-click operation. The client's visits are automatically recorded through the Point of Sale system, but can be updated easily. Track formulas and purchases, and even keep a visual history of your clients' hairstyles using the camera/scanner USB hookup.

Inventory

Nearly every salon sells some amount of hair care products. The Salon Suite gives you simple tools for quickly entering delivery information as products come in as well as recording returned shipments. It prints bar code labels on nearly any label stock, and comes with clear and concise inventory reports, including inventory reports by vendor and manufacturer.

Appointment Book

With the Appointment Book module in the Salon Suite, you can record what day and time the client will be in, who they'll be seeing, and what services they'll have done. The end-time is calculated for you based on the desired services. Scheduling conflicts are noted and brought to the user's attention. And we now have a web component available that gives your on-line customers the ability to set up appointments through their browsers! Day-at-a-glance reports make it simple to keep your specialists informed as to who has an appointment, when the appointment is schedule for, what services were requested, and what the client's formula and purchase history have been.

Point Of Sale

The system wouldn't be complete without the ability to ring up sales. The P.O.S. has been fine tuned for fast and accurate entry of service and product information. The Sales Module supports almost every cash drawer, bar code scanner, and receipt printer made, including creating laser printer receipts. You can easily configure the types of payment to accept. And when the occasional return must be made, the Salon Suite allows you to designate whether the returned item is to be added back into inventory. When the return is complete, you can print an updated receipt to reflect the return.

Employees

Keep track of your employees' schedules, and use our TimeClock module to record when your employees are on or off the clock. Your employees just click in and click out! The employee schedule information powers our Appointment Book module. We provide reports for showing time spent on the clock, calculating commissions based on sales, and more!

Dream You work in a fashion industry, where a look is tres chic one week and SO yesterminute the next. The high end salons effect a complete makeover every two years; shouldn't your software be able to keep up? Behind The Desk features not only the ability to display your logos, but it also has 12 "skins" to change the look and feel of every screen, with more skins to come.
